The National Agrofood Policy 2.0 (NAP 2.0) envisioned a paradigm shift in the nation’s vision and approach for the development of the industry and strengthening national food security.

Addressing the nation’s key concern of becoming self-resilient in terms of food security, BERNAS focuses on adopting a mechanised, automated and sustainable agriculture, in line with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0).

We pledge our support to improvise the farm operation and provide mutual support to the farmers and the farming community by sharing the risks and benefits of rice production.

For this, BERNAS initiated the Program Komuniti Industri Tani also known as KITA as an agro-industry community support initiative dedicated to the farmers and the farming community in the country.
